Present Progressive Tense.

Present progressive tense, also known as present continuous, refers to an activity that is going on at the moment of speaking, we use it to talk about what is happening now.
The structure for writing present progressive sentences is the following:
Subject + be (am, are, is) + present participle (ing verb) + complement.
The form of the verb be will depend on who or what the subject is.
Adding a present participle means writing a verb ending in ing.
Examples:
Kate is watching a movie.
My parents are planning a vacation.
I am drawing a car.
For negative sentences what we do is adding the word not after the verb be.
Kate is not watching a movie.
My parents are not planning a vacation.
I am not drawing a car.
For writing questions what we need doing is changing the order of the verb be, so we write the verb be before the subject and then just add the rest of the sentence and a question mark.
Is Kate watching a movie?
Are my parents planning a vacation?
Am I drawing a car?


El tiempo verbal presente progresivo, también conocido como presente continuo, se refiere a una actividad que está ocurriendo en el momento en que se habla, se usa para referirse a lo que está pasando ahora mismo.
La estructura para escribir oraciones en el presente progresivo en la siguiente:
Sujeto + be (am, are, is) + presente participio (verbo con ing) + predicado.
La forma del verbo be dependerá de quién o qué sea el sujeto.
Agregar un verbo en presente participio significa escribir un verbo terminado en ing.
Ejemplos:
Kate está viendo una película.
Mis padres están planeando unas vacaciones.
Yo estoy dibujando un carro.
Para las oraciones negativas lo se hace es agregar la palabra not después del verbo be.
Kate no está viendo una película.
Mis padres no están viendo una película.
Yo no estoy dibujando un carro.
Para escribir preguntas lo que necesitamos hacer es cambiar el orden del verbo be, para ello escribimos el verbo be antes del sujeto y luego sólo agregamos el resto de la oración y un signo de interrogación.
¿Está Kate viendo una película?
¿Están mis padres planeando unas vacaciones?
¿Estoy yo dibujando un carro?
